Distinguished American Anti-Trust Lawyer at La Trobe University

One of the United States’ best known anti-trust lawyers, Professor Paul Bartlett, Jr, will teach at La Trobe University between 12 and 16 December.

Professor Bartlett has been involved as an expert witness or antitrust co-counsel in a number of well-publicised court cases including the Texas Tobacco Litigation and the Corpus Christi Caller-Time cases and is well-known for his invited public lecturers.

A Texan, Professor Bartlett will teach the subject USA Antitrust Law in La Trobe’s Master’s program in Global Business Law.

Professor Bartlett is a private practitioner specialising in antitrust law in San Antonio, Texas. He has worked with some of the top antitrust experts in the USA including Walter Adams, James Brock, Mark Tobey (Head of Antitrust Division, State of Texas) and Jon Ferguson (former Head of Antitrust Division, State of Washington).

The unit he will teach in the La Trobe University School of Law Master’s program, USA Antitrust Law, covers the fundamentals of USA Antitrust. It will be the fourth time he has taught the unit at La Trobe.

The Head of La Trobe’s School of Law, Professor Gordon Walker, said La Trobe welcomed all suitably qualified people interested in the subject matter to undertake the unit, including students undertaking Master of Law programs at other institutions.
