Entrepreneurial Alumnus celebrates BRW Award

Radek SaliAlumnus Radek Sali, CEO and part owner of iconic vitamin business, Swisse, is celebrating their recent success having won the 2012 BRW Private Business of the Year Award.

It has been massive year for Radek following Swisse’s aggressive and high profile marketing campaign during the London Olympics.  This month the business also announced Academy-Award winning Australian actress Nicole Kidman as a global ambassador – the first time she has endorsed an Australian brand.

Radek, who holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University, is widely renowned as a formidable entrepreneur with a single-minded pursuit to dominate the growing vitamin and supplements market.

“This recognition from BRW is a tribute to the hard work of the entire Swisse team. We are passionate about educating Australians about the benefit of better health outcomes,” said Radek.

Announcing the Swisse award win, Business Review Weekly said: “Swisse Vitamins has pursued an aggressive marketing strategy involving stars, sporting celebrities and top-shelf sponsorships - the result has been spectacular. “Since 2009, annual sales have grown from $15 million to $182.6 million this financial year.”

Radek has also announced they will extend their marketing push internationally in 2013. “Swisse will roll out into the USA in January, followed by the UK, Europe and Asia, and we are confident that people across the world will embrace our products in the same way that Australians have.”

“This recognition from BRW is a tribute to the hard work of the entire Swisse team. We are passionate about educating Australians about the benefit of better health outcomes,” said Radek.
