What students think about the Library

In September 2016 we invited all coursework students to participate in the biennial, library client experience and satisfaction survey.  Thanks to all the 3,949 who responded – the results are used to shape and improve our services based on student needs and expectations.

You told us the Library:

  • Has a positive impact on your research / study success (97%)
  • Is a place where you feel connected and part of university life (90%)
  • Is your preferred place to study on campus (52%)
  • Performs strongly across most areas, but best in: facilities for use of mobile devices; opening hours; resources that meet learning and research needs; access to resources when away from campus; clear and accurate answers to questions, and more.

You said we can do better and this is how we responded:
