LiDs is pleased to announce a season of events presenting lively conversations around support and participation for people with cognitive disabilities.

We are fortunate to have international guest scholars in attendance: Professor Jennifer Clegg (UK), Dr Stacy Clifford Simplican (USA) and Dr Jens Ineland (Sweden).

Tuesday 24 October. 10-4. Theorising the practice of support work – a master class with Dr Stacy Clifford-Simplican

Friday 27 October 10-4. New Perspectives on social inclusion and people with intellectual disability – a master class with Dr Stacy Clifford- Simplican

Tues 31 October 10-4. New Conversations in Challenging Behavior – a master class with Dr Stacy Clifford Simplican

Wednesday 1 November 10-4. Annual Roundtable. This year’s theme: Community participation and how to support it for People with Cognitive Disabilities. Including international scholars Professor Jennifer Clegg (UK), Dr Stacy Clifford Simplican (USA) and Dr Jens Ineland (Sweden).

Friday 3 November 10-1 Viewing intellectual disability through different conceptual lenses a master class with Professor Jennifer Clegg.
