PhD candidate in the running for award

Arjun Rajkhowa from India, is one of the five finalists in this year's Victorian International Education Awards - Research Category.

Arjun is a PhD candidate in the Department of Journalism and Strategic Communication. His  thesis topic, 'Civil discontents: popular movements in India and public representation', explores how Indian news media and online activist publications have covered three contemporary social movements.

The  2014 Victorian International Education Awards presentation ceremony will be held  at Parliament House this September.

We wish Arjun all the best for the awards final, but are very proud of his achievement in being selected as one of the five finalists.
