Changes to ILDDS borrowing
22 Jul 2013
At the start of second semester, 29 July, items borrowed from other libraries via the Interlending and Document Delivery Service (ILDDS) will be issued through the Library Management System in the same manner as La Trobe University and BONUS+ books.
This means you will be able to view all your loans in‘My Library' but you will still need to request renewals through ILDDS staff. Items will be given a generic title such as ‘ILDDS Item Copy 1’ rather than being specifically identified by title on your library record. Most books collected at Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus will be available to collect from the holdshelf in Reserve, meaning they will be accessible during extended opening hours. Overseas loans, audiovisual items and restricted items will still need to be collected from the Inquiry Desk.
There is no change to the collection procedure for Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga and City campuses or the hospital libraries.
