Big surprise in giant squid research
22 Mar 2013
An international study involving La Trobe University geneticist Dr Jan Strugnell has found that there may be just one species of giant squid, rather than the 21 species previously described.
The work suggests that the Giant Squid is likely to be one global species that can travel long distances.
You can read more about the study on the La Trobe University Bulletin, the ABC Science website and on the Conversation.
