Professional recognition of your qualifications

The La Trobe Nanotechnology degree structures (undergraduate and postgraduate) provide opportunities for accreditation in physics and chemistry, depending on the selected study stream.

Physics

La Trobe's physics program is fully accredited with the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP). Double degree graduates will be immediately eligible for membership of the AIP. Membership information is available at: http://www.aip.org.au/content/membership

More information about the Australian Institute of Physics is available on-line at: http://www.aip.org.au

Chemistry

Similarly, La Trobe's chemistry program is fully accredited with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI). Graduates completing the Nanostructured Materials stream in a double degree will also be immediately eligible for membership of the RACI. Membership information is available at: http://www.raci.org.au/national/membership/eligibility.html
