Professional recognition

Our nanotechnology degrees are structured to provide opportunities for accreditation in physics and chemistry. Students who complete the required stream of subjects will be eligible for membership with their related professional body.

Physics

La Trobe's physics program is fully accredited with the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP). Double degree graduates are immediately eligible for membership of the AIP.

Chemistry

La Trobe's chemistry program is fully accredited with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI). Graduates completing the Nanostructured Materials stream in a double degree will also be immediately eligible for membership of the RACI.
