The Musculoskeletal Research Centre (MRC) draws together researchers, academics and clinicians from a range of Schools at the University, the La Trobe University Medical Centre and other healthcare institutions in order to conduct research into the causes, impact and treatment of arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders. The MRC provides a central focus for research and education to advance knowledge in this increasingly important area of healthcare. Please follow the links on the left to learn more about the MRC.

MRC annual report now available (14.4.2011)

The 2010 MRC annual report is now available. In 2010, MRC researchers attracted $4.5M in research funding, and published 1 book, 7 book chapters and 116 peer-reviewed journal articles. Click on the icon to download the PDF.

La Trobe above world standard in human movement and sports science (2.2.2011)

The Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) report, released on January 31, indicates that La Trobe scored the maximum possible award - well above world standard - for the discipline of Human Movement and Sports Science. La Trobe's submission to ERA in this category was primarily represented by work conducted by MRC affiliated researchers. Click on the icon to read the full report.
