Bree PhillipsWhen I was accepted into this course I had no idea of the life lessons that I would learn. Other then the basics, learning about photography, journaling and Australia, I learned lessons that will stick with me until the day that I kick the bucket. One of the many important things that I learned on this trip was the fact that we don't own the land, the land owns us. It exists whether humans do or don't. I also learned that if you see a mountain that looks impossible to climb, climb it just because you can. You may see things that very few will ever see. The world is far vaster then I thought. I'm glad that I got to see Australia, one of the many distinct and individual places that this world has to offer and soak up all that this country has to offer.
