Leica TCS SP2 Confocal Microscope
Inverted confocal microscope with three lasers (Ar ion, Green HeNe and Red HeNe), spectral scanning and up to four channel imaging. It is equipped with 3D, Physiology and Multicolor Software. This Leica Confocal System allows optical sectioning of living, functioning, tissues and cells. It can also collect reflection images of solid materials and perform spectral comparisons of two different probles or regions. The microscope can be booked in 2 hour time blocks with charges according to the category of use. A discounted subscription can be organised for frequent users.
We hold periodic courses to introduce new users to the potential uses of the confocal microscope.
