The Department of Microbiology is involved in the Industry Cadetship Program, which allows students to gain practical experience with industry partners. The Department is also involved with In2Science – a peer mentoring program that places volunteer students in primary and secondary school classes as science mentors.

In2science
Our In2science Peer Mentoring in Schools program places volunteer students with class teachers in primary and secondary schools. Our students gain valuable insights into the teaching profession, act as mentors and champions for science and encourage students to go on to tertiary science study.
