As an international student, there is plenty of support and advice with your studies.
Things on offer:
- An orientation session on studying at La Trobe offering strategies and resource information
- One-to-one support and advice from the Coordinator of Learning Programs on a drop-in basis. Get help with assignments and advice on effective studying techniques
- A text-book buying scheme to purchase high demand texts for groups of students
- A library that stocks subject specific books, reference books and magazines, as well as a 'Down Under' Collection specialising in Australian literature, history and culture, travel guides, maps, and lots of newsletters, pamphlets and magazines about Melbourne, Victoria and Australia
- The IT Centre
- A formal study assistance network of experienced students
- Study mentors and Study Focus Groups
- A wide range of college events including debates, invited guest speakers, free Faculty dinners and much more. Two college Coordinators of Student Studies assist in managing this program.
