Rob Burgess has worked as a staff and freelance journalist for around 25 magazines and newspapers in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. His work has been published in titles such as The Age, the Guardian Weekly, Revolution magazine, The Big Issue, Money Observer and AdNews.

Besides continuing to write freelance, he teaches Computer Assisted Journalism and Writing for the Media at La Trobe. He is currently completing a Masters degree focusing on the construction of the intellectual field in the Australian print media.
