The La Trobe Media and Cinema Studies Program invites you to the Radical Beginnings Symposium

To be held on 26 November 2009 in the Undercroft Lecture Theatre, La Trobe University Bundoora Campus

You are also invited to attend to a pre-symposium screening of two films made at La Trobe in the 1970s:

Beginnings (a documentary directed by Scott Murray in 1971) and Yakkety Yak (an experimental film directed by Dave Jones in 1974) in the Undercroft Lecture Theatre on 25 November – 4:00-7:00 pm

Dance Like Nobody's Watching

GAP Media is delighted to announce that the documentary Dance Like Nobody's Watching has been nominated in the category of Best Society Concern Award for the 2009 (10 th ) Sichuan TV Festival ‘Gold Panda' Awards held on 6 th – 8 th November in Chengdu, China.

A charity screening of Dance Like Nobody's Watching has also been organised for the eve of the International Day of People With Disability in Melbourne. All box office proceeds will go to the Down Syndrome Association of Victoria.
