Our reputation for cutting-edge teaching and research has greatly contributed to La Trobe University’s esteemed international status. The MBA program continuously ranks highly among students, alumni, and employers.
In the 2012 Hobsons Good Universities Guide to MBAs, La Trobe MBA academic staff received 5-star ratings ‘Academic qualifications’ and ‘International experience’, placing our teaching staff in the top 20% in Australia. The program also received a 5-star rating for ‘Salary on graduation’, an indication of the attractiveness of La Trobe MBA graduates.
The Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) awarded the La Trobe MBA a 5-star rating in 2011 and 2012. This is an overall rating of the standard and value of Australian MBAs.
As a first-time entrant, the La Trobe MBA ranked in the Top 100 of the 2011 global Beyond Grey Pinstripes ranking, the only MBA ranking focused on social and environmental impact. Only four Australian MBAs ranked in the top 100, and only two in Victoria.
The La Trobe MBA holds the prestigious EPAS accreditation, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development – and is one of a small number of programs worldwide to hold this accreditation.
In 2010, QS TOPMBA ranked the La Trobe MBA as number 22 overall in Asia and Australia, 10 in Australia and number 3 in Victoria .
In 2009, La Trobe University was ranked the top Victorian university for student satisfaction (Sweeney Uni Student Report, 2009).
La Trobe Business School was one of the first 100 business schools and universities from around the world to actively endorse the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME). PRME is a UN-backed global initiative developed to promote corporate responsibility and sustainability in business education.
