Facilities for Participants

Presentation Facilities for Speakers

The following presentation facilities will be available at all venues for talks at the meeting:

    1. Transparencies on overhead projector.

    2. Data projection from a desktop computer. To use this facility, speakers should bring the relevant files on a usb memory stick in one of the following formats:

      • pdf
      • Powerpoint
      • MS Word 2003
      • html

    Please note that dvi format will not be supported on the desktop computers, so any files you have in this format should be converted to pdf.

    1. Data projection from the speaker's laptop. To use this you will require a laptop with a VGA video output socket. For some laptops, this may necessitate the use of an adaptor. If so, speakers should bring their own adaptor.

    2. Whiteboard.

The venues do not have document cameras or similar technologies, so projection of material written on paper is not an option.

Wireless Access on Campus

You will be given a username and password which will give you wireless access to La Trobe's network should you wish to use it.
