To date we have negotiated conference rates with Rydge's on Bell Preston. This venue is a ten minute tram ride from the La Trobe's Bundoora campus where the sessions will take place and also has tram access to the city. It is located on Bell Street which makes it very easy to find from the airport if you are renting a car or from the Hume highway if you are driving from Sydney or Canberra.

The Parkside Inn Motel is almost on the edge of the Bundoora Campus. It is about a ten minute walk from the conference venue. They have agreed to reserve some accommodation and are offering the following room prices:

Please note that the AFL Grand Final will take place on September 29 the day after the meeting finishes. As this will inevitably place pressure on accommodation availability throughout Melbourne, early accommodation bookings are recommended this year. On the other hand, if you are travelling to Melbourne, you may wish to book an extra night and witness the spectacle.
