We have a reputation as one of Australia's most progressive teaching departments in the Mathematical Sciences, a place where students actively learn Mathematics and Statistics in an informal environment.
La Trobe University is the first university in Australia to have its statistics program accredited by the Statistical Society of Australia. Currently it is the only university in Victoria to have this accreditation.
