Mathematics Prize
The Mathematics Prize (currently $250) has been awarded annually since 1992 to an undergraduate mathematics student of the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.
The current rules (revised in 2008) for the Prize state that it is
"Awarded annually to the undergraduate student who has completed a mathematics and statistics major at Bendigo in that year, and who, in the opinion of the academic staff of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, has achieved the best results in third-year level units of that major, provided that these results average an A level"
