How do I become a member of LUPA?
To become a member of LUPA, simply fill out our online membership form.
Eligibility
All postgraduate students who are currently enrolled in a La Trobe University degree are eligible to apply for memebership to LUPA.
Member Benefits
- an opportunity to meet other postgraduates academically and socially
- free attendance at more than 20 academic seminars and workshops at Bundoora and City Campuses
- free advice & advocacy in the event of academic difficulties or grievances
- representation on key University Committees
- representation at the national level through the Council of Australian Postgraduate Associations (CAPA)
- subscription to the fortnightly LUPA e-Newsletter, with information on news and events, seminars, scholarships information, articles published by LUPA and other information
- use of the LUPA lounges at the Bundoora and the City Campuses
- a range of social events each year, including orientation days, cultural nights and pizza nights
- support for postgraduate academic groups through the small grants scheme
