Welcome to LUPA

The La Trobe University Postgraduate Association Inc. (LUPA) is the representative body for La Trobe University postgraduate students. It represents the interests and rights of the postgraduates. The mission of LUPA is to provide the best possible support for all postgraduates; to encourage, foster, facilitate and support the inclusion and participation of all postgraduates in all areas of University life; to identify areas of disadvantage and inequity in policy and procedures which impact on all postgraduates, and advocate for changes to such policy and procedures through postgraduate representation of University committees.

In the pursuit of our mission LUPA provides a wide range of services to postgraduate students. A series of academic seminars are delivered during the year and interesting social activities are organized frequently for our postgraduate students. LUPA advocates are available to support and advise students when serious problems occur.

Postgraduate study is not only exciting and rewarding but also challenging and daunting. We invite you to be involved in LUPA activities; they will help you regain your enthusiasm and make your postgraduate study easier in the process.
