La Trobe University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) has received international recognition being ranked within the Top 100 MBA programs in the 2011-2012 edition of Beyond Grey Pinstripes, an initiative recognising programs that integrate social and environmental stewardship.
La Trobe University’s Graduate School of Management was among 149 schools from 22 countries that submitted data for the 2011-2012 edition of Pinstripes. Over six thousand course descriptions and a further six thousand abstracts of faculty research were considered by the Aspen Institute Center for Business Education, which runs the initiative.
In this year’s ranking, La Trobe University achieved a ranking of 98 among the Aspen Institute’s Top 100 MBA programs in the world.
The Executive Dean of La Trobe University’s Faculty of Law and Management, Professor Leigh Drake, acknowledges the ranking as a very significant achievement for the Graduate School of Management.
‘The inclusion of our MBA in the Aspen Institute’s rankings is another powerful endorsement of a program that continues to achieve global recognition,’ says Professor Drake.
‘It is testament to the quality of business programs offered at La Trobe and the commitment of the Faculty to producing socially and environmentally aware work-ready graduates.’
