With 57 research fellows, LIMS has developed an international reputation for conducting cutting edge research. The implementation of a research fellow scheme in 2010 has also seen five new internationally competitive researchers join the institute.

In addition to the strength of its research team, LIMS is supported by a strong centralised administration body to oversee the management of all research programs.
