Clubs and Societies
La Trobe has a large variety of clubs and societies based primarily at Bendigo and Melbourne (Bundoora) campuses, with several of the larger clubs operating across all campuses.
These groups aim to provide a support network, help you settle in to university life and make like minded friends.
Being involved with a club or society may also give you the opportunity to learn new skills in event management and administration - useful additions to your resume for life after La Trobe.
University Associations
The University runs many associations to assist students with their needs and involve them in social activities.
La Trobe University Part-Time, Evening and Mature-Age Students' Organisation (PEMSO)
La Trobe University Postgraduate Association (LUPA)
International Students' Association (ISA)
There is also an Alumni Association for past students at La Trobe which is free to join.
Faculty Student Associations
Faculty student associations exist for Business, Law and Public Health students at our Melbourne (Bundoora) campus. These clubs serve to provide resources, social events and curriculum development opportunities to students.
Business Students’ Association (BSA)
Public Health Students Association (PHSA)
Student Clubs and Societies
There are a large number of recreational clubs run by students for students at our Melbourne (Bundoora) and Bendigo campuses. Clubs have included the Agricultural Society, Buddhist Society, Chinese Students Association, Christian Union, Green on Campus, Photography Club, Students Against War and Racism and many more.
There are over 50 clubs currently active at La Trobe. For more detailed information about clubs and societies at Bundoora, contact the Students' Representative Council or for information about clubs at Bendigo, contact the Bendigo Student Association.
And remember, if there isn’t a club dedicated to your particular passion or hobby already established at your campus, why not start your own?
