Melbourne campus extended hours
Extended hours only operate during semester.
During extended hours, students and staff can use all levels of the Melbourne Campus Library, including designated postgraduate study rooms.
To enter the Library after midnight (Semester 1 & 2 exam periods only), you must register your student or staff card - 24 hours before you need access - by completing the Access Registration form.
If you have not received access after 24 hours, contact Security directly on 9479 2012.
You will need to re-register for Library extended hours access at the start of each year.

A security guard is also on duty at the Student Hub.
The University security bus service operates until 10 pm. This bus will deliver you to your car, public transport point or college within La Trobe University grounds.
Once the security bus service stops for the evening the library security guard can ring Security to organise an escort for individuals who are leaving the building after this time.
