Finding ebooks
- Click on the Catalogue tab on the home page.
- Select Ebooks from the All Collections drop down menu.
- Enter a search term in the search box e.g. 'accounting' and click on the Go button.
- Click on the title you want.
- Click on the link to the ebook. For example:
- You can read some titles online. Others can be downloaded to your PC, laptop, ipad or iphone to read offline.
- If you are using the library computers, you can only read the ebook online or save it to a USB stick.
Download to read offline
Most ebooks can be saved to your computer or a USB stick. When you find the words 'ebook library' in the Catalogue, you will need to follow the steps below in order to download the ebook to read offline on your device.
- Create an Adobe ID account.
- Get the free Adobe Digital Editions software installed on your PC/laptop or get the free Bluefire Reader app on your ipad/iphone.
- When you see the below image, click on Download to download it to your device to read offline.
- You will need to:
- Specify the number of days you would like to have access to this ebook and choose the format of the document (if these options appear).
- Click on the Download button to start the download.
