About us

La Trobe University Library is one of Australia's leading academic libraries and operates as one library service across all campuses.

A large and growing proportion of the Library's scholarly information resources are available in digital format and can be accessed by all students and staff, regardless of location.

The Borchardt Library at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus holds the largest proportion of the total physical collection, delivers centralised services for all campus libraries, and provides a library service to the CBD campuses.

The Heyward Library at the Bendigo campus provides substantial collections, facilities and services to support courses and research at this campus.

The David Mann Library at the Albury-Wodonga campus is a shared facility of La Trobe University (Albury-Wodonga), Wodonga Institute of TAFE and the Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre (MDFRC).

The library service at the Shepparton campus is a shared facility with the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE, and the service at Mildura campus is a shared facility with Sunraysia Institute of TAFE.

A virtual library service is available at the Franklin Street and Collins Street city campuses.
