Lectopia Staff Tool
Verifying and editing recording details
On the Recording Details page you are able to edit the details of a single recording and review it.
If you have a large number of recordings the list may span over more than one page. You are able to navigate through your recording list pages using the page tools above the recording list displayed on your current page. You can use the page numbers or the ‘next’ and ‘last’ page selection links.

Clicking on the recording date will open the recording details panel.

The Recording Details page allows you to edit details that will be displayed with your recording to your students in the LMS.

The display for the recording is similar to the unit details page and information can be edited similarly.
Again, each entry field is accompanied with a question mark icon for a function description to help you consider the various details fields.
Summary details
Checking your venue recording details
To help ensure a successful recording it is important that you check and verify the venue details of each of your recordings. This is necessary to ensure the venue indicated is the venue where you will be presenting and delivering your face-to-face lecture.
Check you have the correct venue listed; the venue detail description is given under the Recording Details ‘Summary’ side bar after recording ‘Duration’.

If the venue indicated is incorrect you should contact the University timetables department to first verify your class timetable is correct with them. If they have the correct venue listed for your classes allow 24 hours for the timetable and Lectopia systems to update.
If after 24 hours the venue listed in the Lectopia staff tool is inconsistent with your timetable, you must then lodge this problem with the ICT service desk.
Recording status
The status of your scheduled recording should be ‘scheduled’ until the recording has been made, it will then say ‘uploading’, before ‘compressing’ and then finally ‘available’ when it is ready for viewing however if for some reason you know a lecture is not going to take place.
