Lectopia Staff Tool
Overview
The Lectopia staff tool allows you to;
- View all your Lectopia recordings.
- Edit unit and recording details such as; the name of the lecturer or guest speaker presenting a particular recording, a brief description of the recording’s content or a note about sensitive material or advice.
- Verify the recording schedule checking the date, time and venue details are correct.
- Check that there are no issues with the audio or video in your recordings.
- Attach supplementary resources to be presented to your students alongside the relevant recording.
- Skip or cancel a recording listed in your schedule. You may choose to skip or cancel a scheduled lecture because of ethical issues, or because the lecture content includes copyright protected material that is not covered by the University’s license when made available online.
- Generate student usage reports.
- Enable optional recording ratings feedback and comments features.
- Change your recording display options.
Important Caveat
It is the assumed responsibility of the staff member requesting this service to check their recording schedule in the Lectopia staff tool to confirm and verify details. If the schedule details are incorrect the wrong room may be recorded.
If there are problems with the schedule contact the University timetables department to verify your class timetable. Allow 24 hours for system updates to affect any changes then check the Lectopia staff tool again. If this remains incorrect you must then lodge this problem with the ICT service desk.
