Lectopia Staff Tool
Access and navigation
Open your browser and navigate to http://lectopia.latrobe.edu.au/lectopia/staff/.
Log in using your normal active directory username and password.
Navigating through the main menu page
After login in you will see the main menu screen. A list of all Lectopia units to which you have access to will be displayed. Lectopia units names will contain the year the subject is being taught, the subject code, the code for the campus the subject is being taught at (BU = Bundoora, BE = Bendigo, AW= Albury Wodonga, MI = Mildura) the semester in which the subject is being taught (1 = semester one, 2 = semester two, S = summer semester) and the time of day the lecture occurs (D = day, N = night, O = online).
The unit list displays the unit name, unit code, a nominated contact and the number of scheduled recordings and of those currently available. Clicking on a contact name in the unit list will open a new email in your default mail client addressed to the nominated contact.
Quick Unit Search
To the right of the unit list you can find a quick unit search tool.
Units may be searched for by entering all, or part of a unit name or code. The unit list will be filtered to show the search results.
Other options
The ‘other options’ section presents you with two links.
The ‘View notices archive’ link allows you to view all past Lectopia system notifications. Any current system notifications will appear at the very top of the screen, above your unit list.
The ‘view current recording activity’ link will show you a list of recordings from your units currently underway. This can be used to confirm a recording has started as scheduled.
