What is Echo360 personal capture?
The Echo360 Personal Capture tool allows you to create and publish your own audio or video presentations directly into Lectopia using your desktop or laptop computer.
You can use the Personal Capture tool to record an audio presentation along with on-screen actions, such as slide presentations and software demonstrations. Optionally, you can connect a webcam to capture video as well.
Requesting Echo360 personal capture
The software can be requested through ICT and is available free of charge. Requests can be submitted in one of three ways:
1. Online via My ICT (preferred)
Using 'La net' navigate to the MyICT page and select 'Submit Request' from the left navigation menu highlighted below.
Locate the 'Software Licence order' request form:
Complete the form and scroll to the part titled 'Software Details' to specify your request for Echo360 Personal Capture under the field titled 'other' (it is not an available option using the the drop down menu):
Please note: Cost Centre and Fund details are required, but no charge will be made against them for this software.
2. Email requests
Submit your request via email addressed to the ICT Service Desk.
3. Phone requests
Make your software request by calling the ICT Service Desk: +61 3 9479 1500.
