Research
Research resources
The Faculty offer postgraduate research students a supportive learning and study environment, and academic staff work closely with students to facilitate positive learning outcomes.
The main library at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus is one of the best in the southern hemisphere, including over 1.5 million volumes, an extensive range of professional journals and government publications, specialised CD-Rom databases, and a substantial audio-visual and multimedia collection. Access to major national and international libraries is also available.
Academic skills assistance is available to all postgraduate students.
Research goals
The first three goals of the Faculty of Law and Management's Strategic Plan [PDF 247KB] emphasise the importance of research and research-led teaching for the future. The six Schools of the Faculty offer broad scope for individual research pursuits, as well as interdisciplinary team research. Staff are active in government and corporate research projects, and are published in leading journals and academic publications.
We also offer opportunities for postgraduate research students, including a range of scholarships and support services.
