The Faculty of Law and Management is unique in offering students a flexible approach to studying business. Students can choose varying levels of specialisation in their discipline of interest. The general Bachelor of Business offers four-subject minors and seven-subject majors. The School of Management, in addition to offering minor and major sequences within the general Bachelor of Business, also offers a selection of specialised (tagged) business degrees in: Marketing, Human Resource Management, Sport and Leisure Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The Bachelor of Business (Marketing)
The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) is a specialist degree that seeks to equip undergraduates with the skills and knowledge required for a career as a marketing manager or for other marketing occupational roles. As a functional area of business, marketing must work in concert with other key functions such as finance, accounting, human resource management and strategic management. The degree therefore builds both marketing specialist skills as well as general business knowledge and capabilities.
The degree will also be available to international full-fee students and is designed to provide competencies and skills that are internationally transferable.
