The Faculty of Law and Management is unique in offering students a flexible approach to studying business. Students can choose varying levels of specialisation in their discipline of interest. The general Bachelor of Business offers four-subject minors and seven-subject majors. The School of Management, in addition to offering minor and major sequences within the general Bachelor of Business, also offers a selection of specialised (tagged) business degrees in: Marketing, Human Resource Management, Sport and Leisure Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management)
The Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) is a specialist degree that seeks to equip undergraduates with the skills and knowledge required for a career as a human resource manager. The degree is designed specifically to develop the capabilities specified by the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) in the AHRI Model of Excellence that govern the requirements for professional accreditation of the degree. Human Resource Management is a functional area of business that builds both marketing specialist skills as well as general business knowledge and capabilities.
