Law internships

Undertake a law internship at La Trobe University

Law students can undertake an externship interstate or overseas, as part of the Legal Internships subject ('unit'). For example, opportunities exist to work with prisoners on death row as part of the Reprieve program, or working at agencies such as the Arts Council or the Katherine Regional Aboriginal Legal Aid Service. Students complete a 4500 word research paper on an approved topic relating to their internship.

Opportunities also exist for students to apply for externally-organised internships at a variety of organisations.
