Sport and Leisure Management

Study postgraduate sport and leisure management at La Trobe  University

It is estimated that over 13 million Australians participated in sport, recreation and physical activity for exercise in 2004. (Source: SCORS 2005). On average, sport is practised once a week (Source: ABS 2002).

Our preoccupation with sport is also evident by the seven million members of Australia's peak industry sporting body, Sport Industry Australia. Representatives range from sport businesses to governing organisations and their members (Source: Tourism Council, 2003 Sport Employment Australia).
