The Curriculum Teaching & Learning Committee is designed to promote development and excellence in teaching and learning across Schools within the Faculty of Law and Management. It will do so by engaging with and supporting Schools to design and implement strategies for staff development and enhance student engagement.

Terms of Reference
- To advise the Dean on all matters relating to the implementation of the Faculty's Teaching and Learning strategy.
- To advise the Dean and Faculty Board on the educational profile of the Faculty; and, new or substantially changed courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level; and to review all new course and subject proposals in relation to their pedagogical soundness and compliance with Faculty and University Strategic Plans.
- To coordinate and assist in any course, School, or curriculum review undertaken in the Faculty and to advise the Dean and Faculty Academic Committee on the implementation of such reviews.
- To provide advice to the Faculty Academic Committee and Board concerning teaching and learning aspects of the Quality Assurance processes within the Faculty for all courses and subjects, including international and external programs.
- To advise the Dean and Faculty Board on learning and teaching matters, including online and web-based teaching, and teaching at all sites of program delivery and to oversee the evaluation and quality assurance of teaching and the promotion of good teaching in the Faculty.
- To recommend to the Dean and Faculty Board new teaching and learning initiatives for the Faculty of Law & Management.
- To administer and distribute such funds as are provided to the Committee for the support of teaching and learning in the Faculty.
- To oversee the provision of Language and Academic Skills support within the Faculty.
- To consider matters related to the establishment of prizes and awards for teaching excellence within the Faculty.
- To rank applicants for Faculty and University Teaching Development Awards and Grants
- To provide advice to the Dean, Faculty Academic Committee and Faculty Board on specific issues, as requested.
