Brief profile

My research interests lie in the areas of mechanism design, with a particular emphasis on the multidimensional screening models, theory of bounded rationality, and evolutionary game theory. I also do research in areas of directed search and unemployment, and incentive provision within clubs, with a particular application to Islamic finance.

I have teaching experience at all levels from introductory first year classes to the post-graduate level. When I arrived at La Trobe, I developed and taught third year economics and finance classes. I became a National Finalist of the Lecturer of the Year competition for 2009. In 2011 I taught a big second year class, ECO2IQA, and a third year elective ECO3DAS.
