Brief profile

Paul Emery has coordinated the Bachelor of Business (Sport & Leisure Management) degree program since emigrating from England in 2005. Formerly a Principal Lecturer and Project Director at Northumbria University, he possesses abundant experience in the leadership and development of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, including the management of international franchise and distance-learning initiatives. As a co-founder of the European Association for Sport Management he has presented and published widely in the area of sport project and event management, drawing considerably upon his theoretical studies as well as practitioner management experiences in both sport facility and sport event environments.
