Brief Profile
I teach and research in the areas of marketing ethics, marketing theory, research methods, business simulations, strategic marketing, ethical consumption, consumer culture and consumer behaviour. I also coordinate the 'Boardroom Simulation', which is an intensive professional experience at the culmination of the La Trobe MBA. I have published research in the Journal of Business Ethics and Higher Education Research and Development, and am a Unit Fellow of the Sustainability and Social Marketing Australasia/Asia Pacific Research and Training Unit (SSMART).
Prior to entering academia, I spent almost a decade working for Unilever in Australia and the UK. During this time, I gained experience in a broad range of sales and marketing roles, working directly with retailers such as Coles in Australia and Tesco and Boots in the UK, and gaining deep insight into the life worlds of our consumers.
