Brief Profile

 Dr Balachandran is a lecturer with the School of Accounting. He has joined the School in July 2007. He worked in accounting practice and industries prior to joining the academic sector. He has teaching experiences in different parts of the world. He has taught in Multimedia University Malaysia, City University of Hong Kong and Deakin University in the areas of Financial Accounting and Management Accounting.  His research interests include corporate governance, earnings management, audit fee, corporate financial reporting and disclosure and accounting regulatory environment. He has published several academic textbooks in his early academic career and refereed journal articles.
