Brief Profile
Barbara joined the Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities as a research assistant to Professor John Martin in 2007. Barbara is a graduate of La Trobe University, holding a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) with majors in Social Research and Planning Development and Sociology, Politics and Culture, together with a sub-major in Environmental Studies. Barbara's honours thesis examined community perspectives of Environmental Review Committees for two mining projects located in Bendigo and Fosterville in central Victoria. In 2011, Barbara provided research assistance for the New Dryland Research Project and the Dynamic Victorian Communities Study.
