Meg joined LAS (FSTE) in 1996, and took over as Head of the unit in 2005, when Diana Hiller retired. Meg works across all departments in the faculty and in all areas of teaching. Her particular interest is in oral presentation skills where she has collaborated with teaching staff on projects to develop teaching practices and curriculum resources. She has also collaborated to conduct research in this area, both with La Trobe colleagues and colleagues from Swinburne, and currently from the University of Melbourne. Meg works Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Robyn joined LAS (FSTE) in May 2006. She has a background in science education and philosophy. She has a particular interest in assisting students with disabilities and helping students to improve their study skills. Robyn is a member of the First Year Biology Learning and Teaching Group who are working together to streamline the curriculum and improve student learning outcomes across the four first year biology units. She works on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Barbara joined LAS (FSTE) in March this year. She has a background in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and in Applied Linguistics. Her specialization is ESL and she has extensive experience in working with international students in academic programmes. Her particular interest is writing, including discourse and genre theory. She works on Thursdays and Fridays.
