Visiting research fellows
LaRRC is an interdisciplinary, research-based, and educationally minded institution with a specific focus on methodological innovation and researching the social determinants of health and wellbeing.
LaRRC works collaboratively with a number of like-minded researchers and institutions both nationally and internationally and invites applications from prospective visiting research fellows who are interested in promoting the wellbeing, participation and social inclusion of people with refugee backgrounds.
In particular LaRRC is interested in hosting visiting researchers who wish to pursue research in the following areas:
- Displacement: focusing on the push and pull factors of forced displacement
- Flight: focusing on issues from exile and the seeing of asylum;
- Refuge: focusing on issues of resettlement and refugee diasporas.
There are a number of Australian government programs available to those contemplating short term research in Australia:

- Australian Research Council Fellowships
