About us

If you are interested in rural health then now is your chance to get involved in a club that shares your interest.

La Trobe Rural Health Club (LARHC) is the only Health club on the Bendigo campus that is fully funded and supported by the National Rural Health Network (NRHN) with a membership of over 4,500 students from 17 different clubs from different rural universities throughout Australia.

So why become a member?

Cost to join is $10 per annum and renewal is $5 per annum. Membership forms are available from the Faculty Office or our home page.

What is LARHC all about?

LARHC is a government funded club that encourages current university students to conduct their placement in rural areas, and to return to rural and remote centres when they finish their degree.

What do you get when you join LARHC?

  • 50% rebate on your 1st aid course (this is available to members of the Club that are actively involved in events)
  • access to a wide variety of scholarships from NRHN only available to members of rural health clubs
