Biography
- Rachel joined the John Richards Initiative in April 2009. She has a background in sport history and sociology, with her research addressing sport in colonial Australia. Her research interests include the use of newspape25 May, 2009he cultural aspects of competitive sport. She is currently completing a PhD in social history, examining the developmental characteristics of nineteenth century competitive swimming in Melbourne, Victoria.
