Workplace Gender Equality Agency - Employer of Choice
The University is working towards attaining this prestigious citation in 2016.
The citation is awarded by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, formerly known as the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace agency. As part of an overall refresh the Agency changed its name and updated the requirements for the awarding of the citation. The University is developing policies and activities to submit an application for citation in 2016.

Women in Research Strategy 2016 - 2020
La Trobe's Women in Research Strategy outlines the current research environment and future objectives to enhance excellence. This will be achieved through supporting and attracting outstanding researchers and research support staff who are committed to our vision, creativity and innovation. SAGE – Athena Swan Pilot
Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) is a program of activities designed to improve gender equity and diversity in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM).
The Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering committed to running the SAGE Pilot of the Athena SWAN Charter in Australia, with the aim of improving gender equity and gender diversity in Australian STEMM organisations. La Trobe was successful in securing a place as one of 32 organisations piloting this program. Information about the pilot can be accessed on the SAGE website.
