Notes for contributors

1. Material submitted for publication should be in electronic form (preferably in Word format, or rtf, using the Times New Roman font) either as an attachment to an e-mail to the editor or on disk. Notes should appear at the end of the article together with the contributor's name and city of residence or university affiliation.
2. Italicize titles of books (including collections of essays etc), periodicals, foreign words and phrases.
   Do not underline authors’, editors’ or publishers’ names.
   Place inside double quotation marks titles of articles and quotations of less than 20 words (quotations longer than 20 words should be separated from the text, indented and single-spaced).
3. Contributors may either employ endnotes OR quote author, date and page in brackets after the citation. If endnotes are employed there should be no separate bibliography. If the author, date, page system is used, a list of Works Cited, observing MLA norms will follow the article and endnotes should not be employed. Contributors should follow the guidelines specified in the MLA Handbook (2003).

1. Il testo scritto va consegnato in versione elettronica come documento allegato via e-mail (preferibilmente in formato Word o rtf) oppure su dischetto. Le note vanno apposte in calce all’articolo o alla recensione con il nome dell’autore, università o città di residenza.

2. In corsivo: titoli di opere (comprese raccolte di saggi ecc.), riviste, espressioni e vocaboli stranieri.
   Non sottolineare: nomi di autori, curatori, editori.
   Tra virgolette inglesi: titoli di articoli, citazioni contenenti non più di 20 parole.

3. Richiami: Le opere citate vanno elencate nella bibliografia posta alla fine dell’articolo; per i richiami successivi ripetere il nome dell'autore e il numero della pagina (e.g. Getto 44).
   Si pregano gli autori di articoli o recensioni di voler seguire le norme tipografiche del manuale di stile MLA (MLA Handbook 2003)
